Initiative Nursing Agency's Responsibility
It is the Agency’s responsibility to:

Comply with the NSW Health occupational assessment, screening and vaccination against infectious disease requirements for healthcare workers:

Ensure information, instruction and training is available to all healthcare workers.

Provide regular updates to healthcare workers about COVID 19’s situation and of any changes to the agency’s policies or procedures.

Ensure healthcare workers have been screened immediately before their shift, that they do not have signs/symptoms of respiratory illness, have not been in a declared NSW Health COVID-19 case location or in close contact with a known, suspected or probable case of COVID-19 as per the latest CDNA guidelines.
Healthcare Workers' Responsibility

To start or resume work with Initiative Nursing Agency, all healthcare workers are required to:

Follow the COVID 19 infection control training offered by the Australian Government Department of Health and provide an acknowledgement of training for the following courses:

Infection Control Training - COVID 19

COVID 19 - Respiratory Clinic Training

Keep themselves informed and updated about the situation and any changes concerning COVID 19 by checking regularly:

Complete INA’s COVID-19 Screening Entry Protocol form before starting a shift at a hospital facility.

Report immediately to INA’s management if a temperature over 37.5°C or symptoms of an acute respiratory infection are felt, including: runny nose, cough, aches or pains, nausea, vomiting or diarrhoea, sore throat, loss of sense of smell or taste, fever or Chills or night sweats, headache, difficulty breathing.
